You Have to Digest Everything You Consume

You have to digest EVERYTHING you consume. This concept should be the basis of your healing.

What are you around?

What are you eating?

What are you listening to?

What are you watching?

A damaged nervous system has an inability to digest food, emotions and situations properly. This means that every time we overload it with junk, processed foods, violence, porn, anger, fear, etc., we create more wounds and trauma inside of our bodies

When we watch what we consume, we give our mind, body and soul a chance to heal

We’ve spent too many years in “flight or fight” and now it’s time to “rest and digest”

In Ayurvedic medicine there is a concept called “Agni”. Agni is your digestive fire, your ability to digest anything you consume or encounter.

When Agni is low, whatever is undigested makes it’s way to parts of the body and becomes disease.

From a modern medicine standpoint, the same is true.

When your central nervous system is stuck in “fight or flight”, your digestion turns off. Your ability to separate logic and emotion is impaired. Your memory is affected. Your immune system shuts down and disease sets up shop.

No matter if you believe in ancient wisdom or modern science, being aware of what you consume and making conscious choices, can be the difference between staying sick and healing for good.
